What Is the Sim Lab Membership
The Sim Lab Membership is a monthly program that grants members recurring access to Cirrus Aviation's flight simulators for proficiency-focused training. It is designed for licensed pilots and active students who want to practice procedures, scenarios, and avionics operations without the limitations of aircraft availability or weather conditions.

Initial Membership Package
One-time $299 cost
Enrollment in the Sim Lab Membership begins with a one-time $299 initial membership package, which ensures all members are properly checked out and familiar with simulator operations and procedures. This package includes two hours of simulator time with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and required checkouts in both the AL250 and AL172 simulators.
The initial session establishes training standards, confirms system proficiency, and ensures members are prepared for safe and effective solo simulator use.
Monthly Membership Benefits
Only $49 per month
After enrollment, members receive ongoing simulator access for a $49 monthly fee, which includes one hour of solo simulator time each month in the simulator of their choice. This recurring access supports regular proficiency training, instrument currency maintenance, and continued skill development.
Additional simulator hours and optional CFI instruction are available at prepay rates, allowing members to customize their training frequency and instructional support based on individual needs and goals.
