News Jan 9, 2026 Nayda Cattin

IFR Ground School

Available from February 3rd to March 6th on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Ground School is designed to provide pilots with a structured, practical pathway to mastering instrument flying concepts and procedures. The course emphasizes a strong regulatory and systems foundation while progressively building the decision-making and procedural skills required to operate safely and confidently in the IFR environment. Instruction is delivered in a classroom-style setting that encourages interaction, scenario-based discussion, and real-world application aligned with current FAA standards.

Throughout the program, students will develop a clear understanding of how IFR operations work from preflight planning through approach execution. The curriculum focuses on translating theory into practical knowledge that can be immediately applied in the cockpit and during simulator or aircraft training. Whether preparing for instrument training or refining existing skills, this ground school is intended to reduce training friction, improve situational awareness, and support consistent progress toward instrument proficiency.

Who This Course Is For

This course is ideal for private pilots preparing to begin instrument flight training, pilots currently working on their instrument rating who want a stronger ground foundation, or those seeking a structured review before a checkride. If you are ready to train smarter, gain confidence in IFR procedures, and approach instrument flying with clarity and discipline, this program provides the knowledge base you need to succeed.
